17th Century, Venice, Cusp with very wide and long blade, with round tip ending in a sickle on one side, the base engraved with San Marco lion and doge coat-of-arms under a hat on both sides. The back decorated with a maritime figure - half man half fish - among the two, floral branches, the base with two wings, one depicting a bird, the other a figure riding a fish. Tapering ferrule with flattened sphere-tip and ring-base. Wooden, original haft with remains of fabric covering and tassels. Small parts missing and damages. height 253 cm.
