The ceremonial sword. Italy, Florence, 1632. The sword was made in Florence for a man with the title of count. In the upper part of the handle is visible the count's crown and a schematic representation of the family coat of arms. The guard shows the date 1632. The scabbard and hilt are decorated with deep and fine ivory carvings depicting scenes from Greek mythology, trophies and floral ornaments. On the reverse side, the scabbard and handle are covered with velvet, which is almost wiped off. The blade has an indefinable mark and the remains of an old collection tag. Expertise and certificate of CITES attached
